I have to agree that I don't particularly like it. It is probably somewhat
good for those who regularly travel widely (especially internationally), but
what generally results is that if I am interested in some set or another, I
have to pay a significant premium for it (even if all that premium is is
shipping from Europe).
I wouldn't object as much if the sets were just re-packaging of otherwise
available sets, or were sets which weren't extra desireable because of certain
parts (either only available in those sets, or only available in large sets
for parts you want lots of).
I have done somewhat well on some limited availability sets because I was
willing to pay (I got 4 sets of the Shell promos [the Select Shop etc. series]
because I was willing to buy that many sets which made the shipping more
reasonable). I've also picked up many of the small sets which have shown up in
the US (for some reason Food Lion is a good source of these, they also had the
small Ninja set with the princess and the small Adventurers set with Gail
Storm, along with a few other sets) in hopes of trading for other sets, but
have only done one or two trades of these sets.
