  Re: Palm Tree Junior

(...) new (...) Hey, I had monkeys climin' the old trees as well! -Shiri (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Palm Tree Junior

(...) The only good thing about that tree is that minifigure hands can hold onto the trunk. You can have monkeys climbing the palm trees! Does that make it worth keeping? I guess that's up to you... ;-) JohnG, GMLTC (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Palm Tree Junior

(...) I bought a second 5976, on clearance, and *threw out* 2 of 3 pieces of the new palm tree. (I kept the 2x2 round plate.) This is the only Lego element I've ever discarded so. I even keep broken pieces around. James (URL) getting paid for this (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 2000 catalog page 16

(...) Nope, it doesn't come with any other set... (...) Well, it looks like they just threw it in... but I won't object if they make a set of it... (...) I'd love that. Make some Moo-buildings! Better yet - bring back the Dark forest sets! -Shiri (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Palm Tree Junior

(...) Yep, me either. For a while I was planning on buying the big one <set:5986> but after getting the 5976 I decided against it. The palm tree was a major reason why. -Shiri (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Palm Tree Junior

G'Day The rather ambitious project below would be a fantastic way for LegoDirect to provide support. And when it is over they can cover their costs by selling the used track as used track at a discount and recover some of their promotional costs and (...)   Re: Palm Tree Junior

Yeah LEGO, those juniorized palm trees are disgusting. My 4- and 6 year old children don't like them either. Think of it. I don't EVER will buy another set that includes those trees. NEVER. Arnold (...) building (...) bringing (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Palm Tree Junior

(...) Me too, a thousand times over! I actually didn't buy the big adventurers set from last year, as the new palm tree would have depressed me too much, but that's just me eh? I've recently increased my stash to over 60 of them, so I should be okay (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
