  Re: Windscreen Weirdness

(...) Well, it certainly wasn't ever blue. I'd wonder if it was more trans-blue or trans-lt-blue. Being the latter, perhaps my 6377 entry is off, too. BTW, another cool trivia point about 6698 (if I'm not mistaken...) it's got sunroof glass without (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Windscreen Weirdness

(...) The correct number for this part is 4866 (as taken from my copy of set 6698) and it is trans light blue for this set. Grahame (22 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Windscreen Weirdness

(...) Follow-up: I realized last night that I had reconstructed my copy of set 6698 from a lot of used, mixed parts & instructions I bought. So anything I found wouldn't be conclusive. I looked anyway, but couldn't find the set (my closet is a (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Windscreen Weirdness

(...) Are you saying the part file: 4688.DAT Windscreen 3 x 4 x 1 & 1/3 with 6 Studs on Top is incorrect, and should be renumbered to 4866.dat? (...) I think you've got a mistake here - it should be Trans-Lt-Blue. I'll try to remember to dig out my (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Windscreen Weirdness

Tell me I'm not seeing things. . . I have in my hand a roughly 3 x 4 x 1 LtTrBlue windscreen from set 6392. I can quite clearly read the number as 4866. Partsref doesn't show this part, but it does show part 4688 (URL) is a dead ringer for the part (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Help identify piece

Andrew, That piece is listed on Technica: (URL) was used in pre-Technic sets, along with the large coloured gears & the milky-white Technic axles. Clark (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Help identify piece

(...) These date back to the early days of Technic, back when it was called "Lego Expert Builder" in the US. I think you are talking about this piece: (2 URLs) think mine came with my set #107, 4.5v motor set: (URL) peeron doesn't list any sets for (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Help identify piece

I picked up a tub of second hand parts today and was surprised to come across a piece that I've never seen before. The pieces (there were 4 of them) can best be described as a grey 2x4 technic brick. - Same size as a 2x4 brick. - 3 holes through the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)
