  Gold Storage Case (Late 1990's)
 
I have several Gold Storage Cases- Similar to Sets 782 and 783 only they are half the size and have a Gold color. I know I bought them between 1996 and 2000, but none of them have any identifying numbers on them. I looked on the LUGNET set database (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

I was asking to know which of the two treads to put in my inventory of 8539---I guessed x203, because the size looked close (about 4--5 studs on the semimajor when loosely draped), and it is in a smaller Makuta set. (...) There appears to be an error in the Peeron database for 8539; it comes with 4 of the 680c01 treads which are common to Technic sets. The x203 is the new tread which showed up on the Arctic and Dino Island sets. -Rob. (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)
