half pins blue frictionless axle pins tan axle pins with friction blue odd length axles grey even length axles black etc pieces so far produced in only one colour (excluding the grey varient); 3/4 pins axels 3 long with stud 16 tooth gear with (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.parts, lugnet.technic)

(...) I completely agree with Jennifer's statement, we like the colours when it suits us, but not when it doesn't. Unlike bley, I think this is a problem that only creeps slowly into the minds of technic builders as we can slowly deplete our stocks (...)
