  Re: New newsgroup lugnet.color

(...) I hadn't even seen that, Mark. I've tried to avoid reading the bulk of the thread, since it only depresses me. (I'm a Space guy with tons of real gray and I will miss it. But that's neither here nor there :) (...) Nope, this move isn't (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: The prefect answer to deciding which parts to make in the old colors

(...) I agree, except that they should be in the new colors, not the old ones. So we can start building up our collections of the new colors. If LEGO's not going to change back, then over the years the old colors will become less and less important. (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Jake did good?

Hi Jake, I believe that you have kept your own personal opinions separate from working with the afol community. One of your strengths is the ability to do this. I guess some fans that have talked to you know your personal opinions on colors, certain (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color)

  Re: New newsgroup lugnet.color

(...) Wow. LUGNET sure moves fast, provided the right people are (URL) complaining>. This seems like a very unfair move designed to discourage the expression of negative opinions about the color change, for the benefit of a few people who want to (...)   Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) Make a clean break. Get the old colors out of the inventory and let's move on. Nobody asked you to continue making CA bricks once you switched to ABS; it's no different here. Producing parts packs in the old colors will just prolong the agony (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: Jake did good?

(...) I agree with Tim, and even if the post was broadly about the LEGO company and Ben's feelings about that rather than mostly about color, it still doesn't belong in .general... that sort of thing belongs in the .lego hierarchy somewhere. And (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) Interesting idea! It does raise a good question, which color is most important if you could change one back. I'd like to suggest (as a reader) that this part of the thread be moved over to lugnet.color, or at least kept out of (...) (...) I'm NOT EVEN GOING TO ASK why you're posting pics of your mom in lugnet.color (1), especially since it's likely to draw unwanted attention from Mr. Goldman (2) to her, are you sure you actually want that? So let me just give that "'sho nuff" a (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

(...) OK...Terry, I don't know if I've ever met you at a Fest, or talked to you anywhere or anything, but I'm going to say something here that if you have met me, you'll know that I mean this with the utmost respect: You're either more emotional (...)   Re: From the mouth of babes

In lugnet.color, Terry Prosper missed by point completely by writing: (...) It never WAS a fight. (...) No, we can buy Megabloks. Or Meccano. (...) Maybe you mean "most Lugnet members" or "most regular Lugnet posters" or maybe even "most AFOLs". My (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: From the mouth of babes

(...) Like any other debate, most people simply won't say what they think. Judging by the ratio of agree/disagree amongst those who speek, I'd say most are unhappy. The poll on Brickshelf indicates that only 11% think the new colors are better and (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color)
