Re: IOM: Stone Dragon Clan sets up camp —Richard Noeckel
(...) (URL) I simply loved watching your minifig soldiers set up camp and erect shelters. The scaffold platforms were just great. I don’t think I've told you this before, but I think your web page holds a wonderful array of BrikWars battles. It (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: IOM: Stone Dragon Clan sets up camp —Adrian Drake
(...) Hey, you got to get to the roof somehow :) I was inspired by Leah to show the construction of the buildings. It adds a lot to the story, I think. (...) Thanks for the compliments. I pride myself on having a very diverse collection of creations (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: IOM: Stone Dragon Clan sets up camp —Shiri Dori
(...) Umm, as far as I know, no relation. The idea was first thought up by Nathan and Pawel on the last night of Brickfest 2001, then later (that same night) developed further by those two, Chris, and me. Craig used his awesome artistic talents to (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

        Parallels —Richard Noeckel
The Isle of Albion = The Isle of Mist? I'll attempt to reiterate a past post: Is anyone aware that “The Isle of Mist” is almost EXACTLY the same as “The Isle of Albion.” Is this Castle World creation meant to mirror this Warhammer ® game, or did the (...)         Re: Parallels —Jeff Stembel
(...) Mist have played Warhammer recently, and I didn't hear the word mentioned *at all* the entire Brickfest weekend, which was when the Isle of Mist was first conceived. (...)         Re: Parallels —Richard Noeckel
Thanks for the clarification. And I understand your point. That ‘many of the concepts are universal.’ And a few similarities are understandable. But all the similarities… Too much for coincidence? It’s just that I know one of the writers at Games (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

        Re: Parallels —Pawel Nazarewicz
(...) Jeff - everything you said is dead on (since we *WERE* at your house at the time). Let me just add a thing or two: Nathan and I got lost on our way back from Arlington and took that time to talk about Castle World. We both agreed that in (...)    (...) <snip> (...) Exactly - I remember that's also exactly how you portrayed it to Chris, me, Jeff and Tim (he just happened to be there). (...) yes, I'll remind you - it *didn't* come up that night. It came up between you and Craig a short while (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

        Re: Parallels (nope!) —Richard Noeckel
Thank you all, and I do honestly believe it t’was a chance occurrence now. I wasn’t tryin’ to ‘over analyses’ anything, it’s just that the uncanny connection and conception of each threw me. I guess if you’ve read the stories in question you’d see (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)
