right. the difference between a majical rdp and a mundane secret door
would simply be the context of the pieces and story around it. shiri's rdp
in the chronicles of scar looks like a natural formation in a rock with a
tree growing out. i'm planning mephisto's rpd chamber, a room with a portal
centered witin it, and a majical looking frame around it. of course rdp's
could be made _many_ ways, and not neccessarlly using the 6x1x8 door frames.
the two new belville sets (#5826 & #5825~ i love 'em!) have rdps big
enough to send dragons and footsoldiers through... he he he! i'll switch
doors and frames between the two creating a solid pale yellow unt and a
blue/ violet one.
also, using turntables, a rdp could be entirely built, rather than a
pre-fab piece and used for either majical or mundane transitions (or both
~but be careful, wizards!)
later ~ craig~
