Definitely check out the Brikwars rules ... http://www.brikwars.com . They
are a comprehensive set of rules which cover all time periods and fantasy
levels from cavemen (and earlier!) to the farthest future.
NELUG played a game this past year of four armies meeting for battle amongst
the peaceful medieval village built by Dave Eaton. Undead skeletal
warriors, giants, magic users, wraiths, knights, archers, melee troops,
mounted Kaadu troops, and even a jester who threw exploding juggling balls
were all represented. You can see pictures of the event by following the
link from the NELUG webpage at http://www.nelug.org .
