I've always wondered why everyone who hates Jar-Jar Binks seems to not mind c- 3po, who is the slightly less annoying Jar-Jar of the original trilogy. I understand that 3-po wasn't always mugging for the camera, had a few serious lines, and wasn't (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Chris While I can appreciate your creative nature in adapting old JAR-JAR for use as an ORC or Goblin type creature, that's just not how I picture my Orcs. I would love to put more fantasy type creatures into my lego creations but I see Orcs as (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) IMO, I'd say that Dark Forest and Forestmen lump together, but Black Falcons and Black Knights do not. Look at the shields. I dunno if that's a very accurate way of doing it, but FM and DF both have the same style shield, and BF do not have (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Now, don't get me wrong, I think Jar-Jar was the worst thing about Ep. 1, but I can't help but love the lego version. I've got 12 Gungans, and I use em for orcs and ogres. Right now they're all tan, but I plan on making a few green, grey, orange (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Thanks for the insight, Greg There are definitely different levels of "housing" throughout medieval villages. As far as my creations go, I'm sticking with the tradesman and merchants buildings thus far, since they are the ones who make the village (...) I see a lot of folks using the brown hooded cloaks on their mini-fig creations. The only place I've seen these sold is for the Obi-Wan character in the Gungan Submarine set. Is that the only place to get the brown hooded cloak or am I missing (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Wow, Eric does some excellent work too! Note on the two tudor buildings on the top of his main picture....those are how I have my roofs. You can get more of a slant that way.
