Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Rock Raiders have 'em. :) (...) Technically, those are SPUDs, not POOPs. :) I prefer the alternate SPUD definition for the boat hulls, though: Single Purpose *Useful* Device. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Aquaraiders or RR, I'd bet. (...) Too old, bah! Dat's vhat he sinks, yah! Ve'll show im! <znip> (...) Just wondering, why do you call them POOPs? They aren't really Pieces [that can or should be made] Of Other Pieces... more like SPUDs (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Sorry, they were demolished many a year ago... :( Hopefully I can get one made by Brickfest, and get some good pics then. :) (...) Well, I gotta say it looks very good this way. :) Although the deck *is* a little plain... :) (...) I wouldn't (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

<big snippage> (...) Disliked!? What? Granted, VII could never hold a torch to III or V, but it was still more than worthy of the FF title. Tell me, what exactly did you dislike about it, other than the horrible looking and disproportionate 3D (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) [that (...) Purpose (...) MHO. :-) (...) Because this is a family forum, and I can't call them "Pieces of Sh**" ;^) Maybe they can't be made of other pieces, but I definitely think they -should- be made of other pieces, and by that definition, (...) <snip> (...) it (...) Shiri also mentioned this, and I decided to put two of these <part:2434> on the deck to make it less plain. (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) That crystal would look really good in there, the only problem is that I don't have one. I'll probably get one if some of the Rock Raiders sets ever go one clearance. (...) Great idea, I'll have to incorporate that into my giant cave I'm going (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) on (...) You could also stick a few crossbow (or double crossbow) emplacements around the railing. ~Mark (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) That would be a good way to use up some of those crossbows I've aquired recently. When I start using the ship in my stories, I plan on having "crossbow-gunners" set at stations around the deck. Wilson (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

<snip> (...) Something like this? (URL) is the Mother Crystal with the "crystal keeper". Wilson (URL) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Hey, nice way to use up some of those 1x1 dots! -Chris (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Just a throne

Nothing major, just a throne (thrones?) for Marck and Cleo... In the pictures you can also see that Marck has a different face... I changed that a few months ago, so it's about time I showed it. What you see will (tentatively) be built into the wall (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !

Haven't you got a history project you're supposed to be working on? *smile* -Cheese (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Yes, MOM. <sigh> And FTR, I *am* working on it! -Shiri (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Crossbow-gunners! Makes a lot of sense, running around and shooting enemies. That would make a great addition to the cannon you already have on deck! What about making ballistas that fire the aquazone harpoons? I've seen them used as missiles (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Alright, let's take it outside... To off-topic.fun! ;) (...) Heck, it couldn't hold a torch to Final Fantasy *I*! :) (...) but still, the worst of the lot, IMO. (I've played 'em all, btw. (1)) (...)   Realm portals

I have a question for everyone interested in Castle World. I've been reading recently about RDP's (Revolving Door Portals) and was wondering if that was decided to be the "official" portal, or if we could make our own portals and have them be (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Realm portals

(...) Oh, certainly! Anything goes. Craig first suggested the RDPs as a solution for the apparent distance problem - that the realms would be supposedly far apart and the m-fs would not be able to "physically" travel these large distances. The name (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) I think you missed out on a good opportunity: give the crystal keeper a trans- green lightsaber blade for a "crystal staff". (You could even stick a lighsaber handle and a gem or Rock Raiders crystal on the top of it.) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)
