Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Rock Raiders have 'em. :) (...) Technically, those are SPUDs, not POOPs. :) I prefer the alternate SPUD definition for the boat hulls, though: Single Purpose *Useful* Device. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

Hi Wilson, I like the design of your ship, but I have one suggestion. IMO, your ship needs a trans-fluoro-green crystal piece right in the middle of your crystal room. It's like one you'd get in an Aquazone set (although those are chromed). I'm not (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) many (...) I heard about those, from reading other posts. I was hoping I could see pictures of those if you ever got around to photographing them. (...) Uh yeah, those, um, well, I was thinking of adding those when I was finished, but I just (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Early Castle Wall Components Musings...

(...) All I can respond with is, expanding a castle, such as 6073 with the other Lego wall components is an ungainly and an unpleasent site. Because of the actual castle set's very nature (6073) you end up with 2 sides of a walled city or keep that (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Odd Discovery re: Ninja Walls

(...) That's pretty cool. Even if the colors don't work out. Maybe they'll even make a quarter-tower-top someday. :) Steve (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: Early Castle Wall Components Musings...

(...) According to this statement, none of the walls can be put together, even with each other, as they never appeared in Lego literature connected in any way. :) They may've done it so people wouldn't get the false impression that they came (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Oh, darn, ya beat me to it! ;) Actually, I did make two airships about 10 years ago, but they're gone now... Anyway, I just want to say that's a great design! But, uh, where are the rotor-topped masts? ;) (...) IIRC, that is the Old English (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) Thanks! I had been trying to remember what set I got those "turret" pieces from. I knew they were from a Star Wars set, and I only had two of these pieces, which helped narrow it down a bit. I must've gotten them out of Sith Infiltrator, since (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Re: 4 new pics of Suz's stuff in NELUG display at TCS.

(...) That is a Trojan Rabbit. The ears are pose-able, thanks to a pair of Technic pins at their bases. I purposely made the door on the front of the rabbit extremely obvious. (Easier and funnier that way.) After hours of serious castle-building, I (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.castle)

Re: 4 new pics of Suz's stuff in NELUG display at TCS.

(...) Already done - the little ornamental fish that decorate the tops of roofs in the ninja sets have a peg that minifigs can grab. This allowed the creation of one of my greatest heroes, Sushi Warrior. With a fish in each hand and another stuck in (...)
