Really? As of late I've been paying between $3 and $4 per fig... there have
been plenty of these lots going on ebay-- although some I have noticed getting
to ridculous prices... I don't recall seeing any for $7 per fig though...
unless it's something really rare (like peasants or pricesses) who are usually
a lot more than regular figs...

That's true enough-- I find the best way to get these it go buy sets like the
Black Knight (6009) or Black Monarch's ghost...

I'd expect weapons are pretty cheap-- except for the fact that I don't think
I've seen a brown bow and arrow piece in a currently available set for a
while... everything else makes an occasional appearance...
And as for shields... Those can be expensive with the right logo...

Agreed... and if you're willing to take a chance, do a search on ebay! Not
always the best quality figs (some have faded emblems, loose joints), but in
general they're pretty good... and hey, they're castle figs!
