  Re: Cycloplin: a one-man airship

(...) Lots to like there in a very small space. It's like an "air vignette"! I think my fave part is the wizard's hat. We get so used to using the cast hat that we all forget that there are other ways to make it! That's pretty clever. Are the rubber (...)   Re: Cycloplin: a one-man airship

(...) Awesomeness. This airship fills me with joy. Some suggestions: maybe make a thin rudder clipped onto that broom part? It doesn't desperately need one or anything, I just like rudders. Also, do you have any of those flags in green? I think (...) (20 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Cycloplin: a one-man airship

Hello. I made a one-man airship. The person peddles to make the flap-dealies move, causing the whole thing to move. I used Bruce Lowells sphere. This particular cycloplin has been around for a while, so the owner, a wizard, has had to patch a few (...)   Fests, Events, Parties!!!

Hi All, I just wanted to send out a thought about fests, events, and parties. I have attended 3 BrickFests, 2 BricksWests, 1 LEGO World, 2 PNLTC "all-hands" parties, and several meetings that included AFOLs from around the world... (please don't (...)   Besieging the chicken coop

Hi all, In a discussion on Classic-Castle, Josh suggested that set 1971, Black Knight's Battering Ram, ""might be good for besieging chicken coops, that's about it." Hence this MOC: (URL) the chicken coop>. (URL) Fox design inspired by Anne Henmi (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Duplo Castle set 4776 - and a problem

(...) I brought that set at legoland Windsor and mine had plain black shields too. What a series tho. The castle is fantastic. If only the new minifig scale one was 1/2 as cool. Lego should place the Duplo Castle set designers on work for KK3 (if (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-04, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego)

Re: A use for those skateboard ramp pieces

Hey Aaron, I'd seen those ramps used as roofs before, as in Marc's MOC, but never in this application. Very clever and a nice design. I'm posting a quick note on this over on classic-castle as well. Bruce (20 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Duplo Castle set 4776 - and a problem

(...) I bought set 4776 earlier this week at TRU also. Both of the shields in my set were properly printed. Ken (...) (20 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Duplo Castle set 4776 - and a problem

I just purchased 4776 from Toys R Us, and it has the same problem - the shields are simply black rather then printed like it shows on the box. I did buy the smaller Knight and Squire set at the same time. The shield in that set is printed. Thus, I'd (...) (20 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: New colour variation of an old favourite

New colour variation of an old favourite

Just felt a need to build a two-tone grey version of the classic castle. (URL) to take a few liberties as neither the winch is available in light grey nor are corner 2x2x3 75degree slopes available in dark grey Enjoy William (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A use for those skateboard ramp pieces

(...) Nice! Now we just need some more dark tan pieces. The skateboard ramps also make a nice roof: (URL) Marc Nelson Jr. (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

A use for those skateboard ramp pieces

Hi, this is my first post here; I normally hang around space and most of my creations are in that vein. I periodically like to branch out, and below are a few results. I first was pondering the use of the skateboard ramp pieces and I thought they (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
