I need a little help from some of you castle builders out there. After several attempts at my first, I am struggling a bit to say the least. All of my castles look like a building with a castle theme! I'll start to build, take it apart, change (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Those rounded bricks look awfully good. And now they match LEGO colors! The only drawback (well, besides not being LEGO) is that the rounded corners let a lot of light through. But you could solve that by sandwiching a layer of regular bricks (...) (20 years ago, 10-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) You're right; that inferior material is not allowed. The Brickshelf moderators get TONS of pics that they have to go through every day, so it's relatively easy for non-LEGO stuff to get through. (The moderators mainly check for stuff like (...) (20 years ago, 10-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle)

Hi Jason, Thanks for the compliments! I usually try to build the outer shell first and then go back and redo/rebuild as I add the interior. The reason for the black slopes is that those were what I had around, and I had already spent too much on (...) (20 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
