Hey all, I'm pleased to present my first real .Castle themed MOC in quite a long time. The Royal Hunting Retreat. (URL) started as a single wall to showcase the plate style castle wall / window design that I had been thinking about. Somehow it just (...) (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !

Hey, I love the look of this MOC! It has an irregular and rugged feel, yet is startlingly unique. I can certainly picture it in the midst of some large forest. Nice work! -Ben Harris (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Travis.. this is one crazy MOC. usually i prefer simplicity of design over such craziness, but this MOC has one thing that few castle MOCs have had in a long time -- and it has it in abundance: Innovation Angled walls going up, going down.. Hi Travis! Different. Weird. Still nice. Interesting designs. I like the way you avoided the common use of these castle wall parts. Like other people said before your building looks very remote, deep in the woods, not exactly "royal", at least not (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
