One slight criticism.  I don't like some of the
modern looking doors and windows.  Did
you try using shuttered windows like the
Blacksmith Shop, and older looking doors?

I agree with you. However I do not have so
very much older looking doors in my collection
and am saving them for more building. The
majority of my shuttered windows are the red
frame/green shutters variety and using those
would make the buildings seem alike to much.
So I decided on using these modern doors and
windows instead. A trade off so to say.

Twan, The shops look great. The color schemes work very well. The decorations on the roofs add a great touch. I also really like the effect of the wall extending up next to the roof. I think my favorite parts of the buildings are the way you've set (...) (22 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle)
