Well, that was an interesting read. Nice
photography and scenery detail. The
story was most interesting as well and
it's nice to see you're taking a
biblical take on it. (but do you
plan a more detailed version of this
same string of events?)

Hey Matt,
Thanks for the feedback.  The biblicalness, while totally unlike myself
personally (a hardened cynic), comes really easily (prolly from being a
preacher's kid).  My wife said the same thing.

What do you mean a more detailed version?  The next installment of the story is
the Calling.. essentially meaning: those who fullfill the prophecy are
gathered.  It is much longer (~30 images), with more action and drama.

To me castle lego is all about story-telling.  If you look at old school castle
(like CW, IOM, and earlier stuff) it is dominated by story telling.  I find
that interesting, because you don't find it as prevalent in other genres.
Space, for instance, is all MOC dominated and maybe two or three stories ever
published.  So this story is my way of re-connecting with what I might call,
.castle culture.  And maybe inspire other people by the ease with which I'm
doing this.

If there is interest, I might even do a "Making of the Beyhadur" when this is
all done. maybe.

Once again, thanks for the feedback,
-Lenny

Hope to see some more of this!

(...) <snip> (...) I meant, you could easily tell the story in several chapters, adding the more important features of friendship, romance and betrayal to snazz it up a bit. That's what I would have done, anyway... (...) Sounds pretty interesting, (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)
