  Re: Please read this!

Hi Matt, SNIP (...) I have read LOTR and the Simeraillion sp? (which I prefer). I am in less danger then yourself of stealing ideas since I, while not historicaly accurate, encompace no magic or weird creatures in my writing. LOTR is almost a must (...)   Re: Help me name Ikros!!

Original title is the best. It says it all. Chronicles of Ikros is a story about more than just one guy (garalt). It's about what happens to an entire country. So it's perfectly named. Don't change it. e. (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Help me name Ikros!!

Well, not my story's country, Ikros. But my story, the Chronicles of Ikros As some of you may already know, I am going to attempt to publish currently web-finished story. I'm not ready to send it off to any companies yet, but while I was working on (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us.texlug, lugnet.publish.html)

  Re: Please read this!

(...) Okay, that's probably true. However, unlike many others, I usually tend to be unorthodox and look from the other side of the boundary. Why borrow from someone else when I can create my own creatures/ continguincy? (okay, I admit I have used (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Please read this!

(...) Subconsciously take some of the ideas? haha! The way we see castle worlds like Ikros is because of tolkien. Warhammer, the popular minitures game, owes alot to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. so does the Sword of Shannara and the other (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Please read this!

(...) Hmm...reading some of the earlier dialogue from the predecessor chapters, I could easily tell I didn't place much incentive to further read within the dialogue. What was I thinking? I'll continue to refine it until something works. Thanks for (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Please read this!

(...) Hmm...seems plausable enough. Oddly, though, I haven't yet taken the liberty to read Tolkein's trilogy yet (possibly due to the fact I don't want to subconsciously take some of the ideas and use them.) I'll probably give it a read, though. (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Re: Help Wanted for Website Information

(...) Thanks again! Im not sure, but it looks like i have to have the website already made. Could you confirm this? thanks. I was just browsing through "the complete idiots guide to creating a webpage" and i can see its rather of a headache. i can (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day

(...) <snip snip> (...) hi some things i'd like to add. (also to the parallel post) most founders of protestant churches lived around 1500 (i don't mean founders of buildings). the romanesque era ended in most places befor at the very very most (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)
