I just thought I'd share with the lugnet community my latest creature MOC.  It
is a treant I call Gnarlbark.  In case you don't know what a treant is, I'll
quote from my officially official AD&D Monstrous Manual (which is where I get a
lot of my creature MOC inspiration).

"Treants are strangely related to both humans and trees, combining features of
both species.  Peaceful by nature, treants can cause great damage when roused
to anger.  They hate evil things and the unrestrained use of fire.  Treants are
almost indistinguishable from trees.   Their skin is a thick, tectured, brown
bark.  Their arms are gnarled like branches and their legs fit together when
standing like a trunk of a tree.   ...   Treants are very intellegent and often
speak a number of languages including their own, elf, dwarf, common (human),
and a smattering of just about all other humanoid tongues (at least enough to
say 'Get out of my trees!')."

Of course my treant is an adaptation, as my treant lies in 'tree form' when
sitting on his legs.

A tree man was a good idea. I could see Garalt and CO walking though a
forest and being attacked by one.
Very cool veryy cool indeed.
