Hi all!

Just to prove I have been doing more than just lurking around Lugnet lately, I
finally got around to taking a few pics and scanning them in...  I will start
you off with the Dracolich...

Inspired somewhat by Anthony Sava's amazing work with dragons, this small MOC
was pretty much a "doodle" with some spare pieces.  It is not 100% sturdy, but
it looks decent (I think).

I have been running a D&D campaign every other week, and we use my Lego
mini-figures for tactical representation (rather than metal figures).  So far,
all the monsters the players have encountered have been roughly human size, so
I have been putting modified mini-figs on the table.  By comparison, this
Dracolich MOC will tower over the player's figs.  I can't wait to surprise them
with it...   :)

Cheers & LMKWYT,

That's pretty nifty there John.  I've known several people (myself included)
who've wanted to do a Dracolich, and to my knowledge you're the first to post
one (someone correct me if I'm wrong).  I like the head, it has a good hollow
skull look to it.  I think if I were to make another attempt (an attempt I
actually was proud enough to take a picture of) I'd make it a bit bigger to
capture more detail, but I'm sure it'd be really really flimsy.  At least yours
stands up on its own!  Keep up the good work.

(...) yours (...) Thanks Anthony! I agree the concept would have to be used in a bigger model to get any decent detail. Unfortunately this doodle was an afterthought (after I built most of my BrickSiege layout), and so I had limited pieces to work (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)
