     (...) I'm not sure why its yellow. Many of the medieval castles that I remember seeing in central Europe were brown/tan/red instead of gray, depending on the local stone supply. When the Yellow Castle came out.... which I remember getting one for Xmas when they came out.... there were no grey bricks around.... it wasnt till a few years after that when Lego started making the grey stuff...!!! and to really rub it (...)    (...) ...and grey bricks didn't become generally available until Legoland Space in 1979 (in Australia)(I remember seeing my first grey 2x4 brick* then!)... and they didn't become that common (not that they've ever really been common) for a while (...)
