Thanks for the kind words (and thank you to Eric and James as well). I have
to admit that the Isle of Mist stuff going on right now served as partial
inspiration. And of course I've had the hull for quite a while now and
finally got around to doing something with it. This isn't exactly what I
intended to make, but I'm sure you know how it is- sometimes you start on a
model with one idea and it morphs into something completely different.
Yes, I was thinking of some character development while putting this
together. And I hope to work some more on it in the near future. The ship
still needs a good bit of detailing- the interior is totally empty, the
rudder is exceedingly boring, and there just plain isn't enough junk hanging
off of the hull. But none of those are fatal flaws...
