  Re: Honjin Stronghold

Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave me some feedback on the Stronghold, I really apreciate it. Much like Nathan Wells, Lenny, and others, I think crossover building in .Space and .Castle makes both themes stronger. Thanks again, and keep (...)   BrickQuest and BrickMech at GenCon2004

I just got back from GenCon 2004 and GLUG had a great showing there. We pretty much had at least one game scheduled for every hour of the Con and delivered several hundred player-hours of brick-based gaming goodness. My photos focus on BrickQuest (...)   My Castle Contest Entry (with medieval relief..)

Here are some pictures of the castle MOC I entered for BrickFest 2004. I expected to get a lot of comments regarding one particular detail (medieval relief) but because it was positioned kind-of in a corner, it is unlikely anyone actually noticed. (...)   BF04 thoughts

Well what more is there to say? Even if my body (sleep, food, beer) has recovered from the weekend, my mind is still a beautiful colorful carnival of images of MOCs bricks and people that will take a long time to fade. And when my mind settles (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.castle)

  Castle displays pilfered :(

For those of you who heard about the incidents in the castle room where items on the displays were stolen, I thought I would update on a related incident. Someone took one of my farm chickens, also - I was unpacking today and noticed one missing - (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.castle)

Re: Who built the Balrog confrontation scene?

(...) <snip Balrog link> (...) Hey Bruce. The Balrog is mine. Unfortunately, I don't have him online anywhere. I did buy a digital camera recently and hopefully will have a Brickshelf gallery up when I get it all figured out. Ken (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Who built the Balrog confrontation scene?

Hi all, Just looking though some Brickfest photos on Brickshelf. Anyone know who built this? (URL) Also, do they have it posted on their own website/MOCpage/gallery? I'd like to add it to my big list of Tolkien MOC links. Bruce (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Allow me to introduce myself...

Chris, I really like the Magician's tower. The trees in front are a very nice touch - as is the change of terrain. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your creations as your technique develops. -- Pawel (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Vladek's non-medieval transport

  Re: Honjin Stronghold

Sorry for the late reply. WOW! Keith this has to be one of the best diorama's you've ever done. I just love all of it.
