AWESOME 5' fantasy castle on Brickshelf

I haven't seen anyone claim this incredible structure in the Castle newsgroup yet, so I thought I'd share the link to the folder for whoever it is that built it. (URL) 5' tall castle> This is one of the tallest and best built castles I've ever seen. (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Indeed. They're unmistakably saying, "Look how sad and ugly old grey looks, and none of the pieces match anyway because they yellow with time." --SteveR (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: MOC:Sword Tower

Interesting concept. The tower it's self looks nice and I like the part used for the roof. (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Northern border outpost

(...) Looks great. The snow covering everything gives it a very chilly feel. The outpost itself looks imposing enough to withstand most any assult, barring seige equipment. The stream flowing below is a nice touch. I'm not too sure about the roof on (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Northern border outpost

(...) Nifty. It has a very blocky look, like it could withstand determined assault with savvy defenders manning the slits and walltops. Photographing it with a wintry background is quite effective as well. Thanks for sharing! (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Northern border outpost

The King told them they would have their share of fortune, women and adventure... But they got the bitter cold of the northern border. And the occasional raid from troops of the Northern Kingdom: (URL) first castle creation since I was a kid. (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle wall idea - using 3 x 3 x 6 Corners

(...) I wonder if it would be harder to get a ladder up to a wavy wall, though. (...) In fact, it doesn't. That principle only holds true if the oblique angle tends to deflect shot into open air. If it deflects shot into a pocket point of the (...) (20 years ago, 16-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Defending. The point of projecting towers is so the defenders can sweep the fronts of the walls with projectile fire. With a wavy front, an attacker standing between two of the waves would be hard(er) to hit, because the wall itself would be (...) (20 years ago, 16-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle wall idea - using 3 x 3 x 6 Corners

(...) The question is: What do you want? A castle for your son to play with? Well, don't bother. For a kid, it is a very nice building. If you want to build a more real looking castle, the only way is to look for some pictures or drawings of real (...) (20 years ago, 16-May-04, to lugnet.castle)
