  Re: Boarding House

(...) Thanks James. I am probably going to give the "one building over another" a try again, once I get some more parts in. (I build 6 more buildings this weekend and I am seriously running low on certain parts)(1). I've done ½ stud inset on town (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Tight. One thing I can say with confidence here: tudor buildindgs will never go out of style. Now your nice model just makes me wonder if I can find those same windows/lattices for a reasonable price. Last ones I saw were for 2 bucks each on (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Inn

(...) Thanks Jason! Yeah, I do seem to be stuck on white lattice panes and 5 wide windows. I at least tried something different on the carpenter ( (URL) ) a while back ;) James (20 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Boarding House

(...) Hey Jason, The boarding house is really cool. It was a great idea to build one building over another and it turned out well. I like how some of the windows are set in half a stud. I really like the odd shape of the building as well. It gives (...) (20 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cook's home

(...) Hi Bruce, This a cool house! You did a great job on your exterior texture. The interior is fabulous. The rafters are a great touch and all the other little details are really cool. The only change I might make that hasn't been mentioned here (...) (20 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) Tim, that larger item is his army. It looks bad when your troops are supposed to look the same but a percentage of them are stuck with different-looking equipment. Imagine a formation of 50 Marines with 5 of them wearing the new pixelated (...) (20 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cook's home

(...) Thanks. I agree on the overhang. I'll have to do that differently in future buildings. (...) Unfortunately no. Job/family/etc. conspire to prevent me from attending fests. I'm usually doing good if I can attend a weekend LUG meeting. (...) (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cook's home

(...) Thanks. (...) It's mainly a screw-up. I originally built this fairly quickly because I had to get it mailed to Lenny for Brickfest PDX, and when I was building it I couldn't find my 1x6x2 arches. I had to go with the 1x6x1 arch, and if you put (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Boarding House

(...) Thanks. Interesting that you mention the Weasley's home. Personally I had pictured theirs as more ramshackle and precarious looking. Now I want to work on more houses with "add-ons". Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
