   I’m not sure about the arch behind the front door, was it intentional that a fig would have to duck, or was it a piece availability issue?

It’s mainly a screw-up. I originally built this fairly quickly because I had to get it mailed to Lenny for Brickfest PDX, and when I was building it I couldn’t find my 1x6x2 arches. I had to go with the 1x6x1 arch, and if you put that one brick higher you get gaps between the door and the doorframe. I suppose I should really go back and incorporate the right arch now that I’ve found them.

   Oh, and I dig that big window in the back. Seems great for mischievous kids to run by and grab a pie or loaf of bread cooling.


I just wish I had one of the loaf pieces. Or a couple of the croissants.
