  Re: Working ballista and onager

(...) Hi Adam, I don't have any instructions for these. I could take some pictures of the assembly if people are interested. The rubber band on the onager stretches around the technic axle where the arm pivots. The rubber band is attached on either (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Working ballista and onager

(...) Hi James, Great work. The ballista looks great. I wanted to suggest that you'll try to put a spear inside the round brick and see how it shoots. The onager is great as well. (URL) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Awesome! Do you have plans? I cannot see where the onanger is powered by the rubber band. Adam (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

does anyone know who built this?

Hi, I was doing my weekly scanning of the Castle section on Brickshelf, and seen this near the top. It looks like this has just been submitted. (URL) Does anyone know who built it?   Re: humble request regarding Brickshelf

(...) The reasons that have been stated elsewhere (no time to dig now but try looking in threads hung off lugnet.announce.brickshelf) is actually related to privacy considerations.   humble request regarding Brickshelf

Hi. There are those whose Brickshelf accounts are quite obvious who they are, as in Dave Ohare = DaveOhare etc. There are those, including mine (medib) whose name is not so obvious. In light of the recent change at Brickshelf.com regarding account (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: wierd things are afloat at Shop@Home regarding Castle...

(...) Thanks for pointing this out Ben. It looks as though we Downunder(Australia) have also lost the privellidge to purchase 10000 through S@H. This is a shame, as this set is only available to Australia through S@H. We dont have Lego outlets or (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: wierd things are afloat at Shop@Home regarding Castle...

(...) I think that the general European buyers (not AFOLs) may have better taste in sets. So they buy out the great set and not the average castle with a raised base plate and poops. I can see why American parents would buy their child a castle (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: So very Good!

(...) Which "minimalist-accessories" sets would those be? 4811, which comes with one complete 'fig, two crossbows, and a shield? 6054, with two 'figs, a bow, a sword, three spears, and two shields? Any random Castle set of which I can think has *at (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

wierd things are afloat at Shop@Home regarding Castle...
