Hi Tim. Thanks!
I know what you're saying about the windows, but unfortunately there isn't
really a way to do it for either of those windows without a major rebuild of the
roofline. The dormer window in back is right on the hinge line for the wall so
I'd have to totally rebuild the back of the shop to change things.. a bit more
work than I really want to do. ;)
As for the front window in the roofline, the picture doesn't show it but above
the window is a 1x2 black plate to fill the gap to the roof bricks above and tie
the window into the rest of the bricks so it's stable. There just isn't much of
a way to do anything there. The only way I know to seal off the top of the
arched windows is with a 1x4 arch brick. In both of these cases, that brick is
just too large for the job.
I'll experiment some and see what I come up with for my next project.
