(...) mine, and you've given my lots of ideas. If you ever take it apart, take more pics so we can see how to build it. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Revenant Tree and Direwolves

I love those wolves! Like somebody already said, that is truly the best use the wolf head I've ever seen, even better than a werewolf minifig. And they're so simple, I love it. I like the detail to the back feet giving them claws with the 1x1 clip. (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle World @ BrickFest

Sadly, it has been a long time since I last posted to the castle.org.cw group. And most of you probably wouldn't know that I am a LEGO Castle fan and builder unless you went to BrickFest 2000. 2000 (URL) year BrickFest dedicates a room to the Castle (...)   Re: Trebuchets

As I mentioned I wanted to do in my other post, I've changed to a braided sling pocket and it made a big difference, both in ease of setup and distance. It now throws about 6 feet. Time to see what sling length and end hook gives the best (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Revenant Tree and Direwolves

(...) Outrageous but unique...well, I must say you hit originality perfectly with these, Mr. Comeau. (...) I found some interest specifically in those direwolves ...although I'm still wondering if you could improve on that design in some way? As you (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Farm MOC.

(...) Great Stuff, I just got around to looking at this and must say I like it a lot. I always like lego models involving a whole scene, especially with water and greenery... Keep up the great work! God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: The first Mobile Medieval Market shop! With Elephant!

(...) Very nice... But now everyone will say I copied you when I post my 'Elephant shop' (all rights to idea reserved : ) ). Seriously though, very good. I like the way you tied it in with your existing shop instead of making a new one. Thanks for (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Medieval Marketplace Town Square (with 20 shops)

Hi, First off I gotta say sorry for not replying. I thought I did before I spent the week net free... (...) Thanks! (...) Hopefully something better instead : ) But I won't see these pieces again for a few months (they're in NZ). (...) Funny you (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

New (and old) MOCs: Church, castle interior and more

(URL) church is ancient meets modern head on - a ruin rejuvenated with walls of glass and a nave converted to a walled garden. I've also added two shots of the castle interior - the Great Hall with its weapons on the wall, hammer-beamed roof, statue (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Trebuchets

I've only gotten it to throw a few feet with the soccer ball. The mini-figs can spit farther! An area that needs serious attention is the sling pocket. The piece of plastic that I'm using now is too slippery and a soccer ball has trouble staying in (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Trebuchets

I'm glad you liked the siege weapons site. I found it when I was building my catapult. I've started doing more historical research when I build. Not that I'm all that accurate in my MOCs, but I do get some great ideas that way! Stephen (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Trebuchets

Hey Brian, Very nice trebuchet! I saw that show too and loved it. You can buy copies of it off of their website. Anyway, your rendition is very cool. I am thinking of building one too after all this talk about them. But now I will be a copycat! :) (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The first Mobile Medieval Market shop! With Elephant!

Thanks, George! Sure, go buy some elephants, they aren't that bad. They impressed me more than I was expecting. I think Hannibal crossing the Alps would be a really cool layout if someone got motivated. Anyone? Josh (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The first Mobile Medieval Market shop! With Elephant!

Thanks, Yaron, I appreciate it. I thought a mobile segment of the market would be cool. Now, let's see some others! Josh (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The first Mobile Medieval Market shop! With Elephant!

Well...I don't think so. I think Abdul is going to travel alone. At least for now. I might get one more elephant. The scorpion palace comes with a light grey one, so I might get that. We'll see. Thanks for the comments! Josh (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Revenant Tree and Direwolves

(...) Lets not get in to an debate here, but every other animal is in no way close to true. Have you seen any farm animals? There is lots to add, and unless there is good reason, I doubt if we'll ever see a wolf. Jeremy (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The first Mobile Medieval Market shop! With Elephant!

Josh, Is this the beginning of a traveling caravan for the MM? Very innovative shop and keeper you got there! Regards, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)
