The case shouldn't matter. Have you set the LDRAWDIR environment variable
to point to d:\ldraw? If not, L3P won't work (unless L3PAddOn does this
automatically). Check the L3P DOS window again. If the help text ends with
the following (after you hit a key to continue twice), you need to set this
environment variable:
*** Environment variable LDRAWDIR must be set to directory with
P,PARTS,MODELS.
e.g. 'set LDRAWDIR=c:\Lego\Ldraw' (don't use long names)
You may type the set command at the DOS prompt or put it into
C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT.

| (...) Hmmm... good call Travis... unfortunately he said that everything works fine if he runs L3P manually, so the LDrawDir variable must be set (or he has LDAO installed). L3PAO does *not* set the LDrawDir variable automatically though, so that was (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)
