Also, the tiles are grooved, LDraw's tiles weren't grooved in 1999. Steve

(...) LGEO does have textured slopes, not mapped but calculated on the fly by POV. The effect is similar to that of the pics in the books. (...) I'm not sure what you mean by this (?) Here is more odd stuff: In "Lego City, The Ultimate Sticker (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Hi all, I never knew these two Lego Modeler books for DK existed until literally 10 minutes ago (URL) sure looks like the illustrations created using some Ldraw-L3P-LGEO-POV combination (click the option "look inside" underneath the cover). I was (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
