  Re: Problem using difference

Hi Paul, I'd like to thank you for your help on this. I assigned a clear pigment to the box: difference{ object { Scimitr2_dot_dat } box { <40,-43,-360>,<350,85,280> pigment{color Clear}} } It never occurred to me to give the box a color. Of course, (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Problem using difference

(...) Well Travis, This one could have some error messages that may be appearing. I have been rendering most of the day today and have seen many different error messages. An example that works for me is; difference{ box{<-60,-5,70>,<50,70,-30> #if (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  New site with renderings

Hi, after having read this newsgroup for some time, I've finally decided to come out with my small set of renderings. All renderings are done with POVRAY using my own libraries (except the colors which are taken from an LDraw export). The gallery is (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Problem using difference

Sorry about the image size. I've uploaded two larger images with a different view point. I've also included an image of the full model. The difference statement is as follows: difference{ object { Scimitr2_dot_dat } box { <40,-43,-360>,<350,85,280> (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Problem using difference

(...) I have done quite a bit of this type of thing, but it has been awhile. I could not tell anything from your pictures. Can you maybe render them a little larger? and perhaps give us an example of what your difference statement looks like. Paul (23 years ago, 7-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Problem using difference

I have part of a model that I want to show by using the difference statement. I'm using a box to cut away part of the model. The pov file was created with l3p and the -lgeo option. When I render the file with QUAL=0, I get the de- sired result. When (...) (23 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Finally...

It's great to have you back, Lutz! Your LGEO library is an invaluable resource for the community and has personally been a major part of my interest in Lego. I look forward to its further development. Thanks and welcome back! (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)

  Finally...

Hi all, finally I have moved, nearly all thing have been done, except de-dusting my LEGO-models and placing them all around our new home. I have collected all mails regarding errors and problems with the LGEO parts and will fix it and bring a new (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)
