Actually, the problem seems to be one where the L3PAO outputted file doesn't contain the complete paths to the parts in the LGEO library, this causes POV to bomb on each and every include statement. In the main these take the form of the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) L2P is Lutz Uhlman's program for converting an LDraw .DAT file to POV-Ray format, using the LGEO library exclusively. You don't need to use L2P if you don't want to. You can also use Lars C Hassing's L3P to convert a .DAT file into POV-Ray (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)
