I don't use the export function so I can't comment. But if you want to
raytrace, get POVray, install it, then get L3Lab (or L3P) and install it.
What I do to trace is save my MPD with the design I want traced. Then I
launch L3Lab, navigate to my MPD and open it. I then rotate the model around
to look at it from all angles to check for correctness (you can do this in
MLCad too) and say "Write POV file" from the file menu.
Then I doubleclick that file to launch POV and render away.
(well, actually what I do is turn the file into an .inc and embed it in my
background scene that Bram made for me... you can see the results of this
work if you go to my brickbay site or look at my current eBay doodlebug auction)
