  MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

Hello, Perhaps you already know the model from BrickShelf or 1000Steine, but still I want to show it here, too: (2 URLs) It is a German 5 tons military transporter. I combined old and new gray in it (I never did this before and I never wanted to do (...)   Re: Feature question

(...) Another way to do that is to use the favourites functionality of MLCad, but you still have to keep count of parts & colours. And you still have to create the list manually. ROSCO (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Feature question

(...) The short answer is no, the only product that support limited pallettes in LDD. The more complicated answer is yes, but only in a very limited way. You could create you own custom parts.lst file containing only the parts you want in it and (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Feature question

This just came to me as I'm trying to assemble some CAD A-wings to compare new/old/unofficial creations. Is there a way to download a set inventory list from somewhere (peeron?) so that those parts are the only ones you have to work with? It also (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  MLCad.ini 2005-01 Update Now Available

Hi, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2005-01. The .ini file defines the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. Download the file from my website: www.holly-wood.it/mlcad-en.html bye, w. (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad) !

Re: How do I specify colors not part of MLCAD?

(...) If you click the "More" button next to the 16 standard colour buttons, you get a dialog that displays all MLCad's colours. The colour box can be scrolled to reveal them. Hovering your mouse over a colour swatch pops up the colour name, (...) (19 years ago, 27-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: How do I specify colors not part of MLCAD?

(...) You'll find that many of the colors on that list are already recognized by MLCad. For instance, if you type 383 in as a color number, and then hit Tab, it shows Chrome as the color name. Of course, this isn't all that helpful, since you had to (...) (19 years ago, 27-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: How do I specify colors not part of MLCAD?

Thank you for the info Travis. Is there a configuration file or a way I can enter all these color values into MLCAD so each time I use it the appropriate color names and color numbers are already in the MLCAD color picker? - John [SNIP] (...)   Re: How do I specify colors not part of MLCAD?

OK, I think I found a partial answer to my question. It looks like I can cross reference LEGO part colors to LDRAW color numbers here: (URL) opens another question for me though. Is there a way I can change MLCADS color list so that it will have all (...) (19 years ago, 27-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: How do I specify colors not part of MLCAD?

(...) If the color has an LDraw color number, you can just type the number into the Color number field in the MLCad "Select color" dialog. Many colors won't have numbers, but chrome silver and gold both do. Take a look at this color list, which (...) (19 years ago, 27-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.mlcad, FTX)
