I use LDAO's Editor for creating parts. It has many helpful extensions to a
regular text editor, plus you can instantly view the results with LDLite.

| (...) Right, and LDLite has a mode to make this work better, you can get it to "poll" for changes in the data so you don't even have to explicitly ask for a redraw. However, this usually hangs my system for some reason. No doubt it's me... (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

| (...) I mainly use the LDAO editor for authoring. I find the highlight-CTRL-drag extrememly useful for copying coordinates from one line to another. The dynamic update of the LDLite rendering is invaluable, but on occasions have used MLCad due to (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
