(...) I don't think THOSE building instructions are ALL that. The 'cartoon' version that MegaPOV produces is MUCH better at allowing you to see the different pieces that are being added to the model in each step. See any of by building instructions (...) I would suggest that you buy Jin Sato's book - (URL) he has a chapter explaining how he makes instructions. There is lots of other stuff, it is a good book. (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi, I was looking at Jin Sato's website and found a listing of building instructions for some of his models. (...) first of all, which "plan" are you trying to open? If it is very recent, there may be many parts in it referenced that are not part of the OFFICIAL Ldraw parts list. Having said that, have you tried to down load the bulk of the "unofficial" (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi, I'm new to Ldraw and MLCAD. Basically trying to help the father in law get a plan from LUGNET. I installed LDRAW and the complete parts library as per instructions on the Ldraw site. I then installed MLCad. I ran the program, scanned for new (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) How about using "draw to selected part" and selecting only the parts in the first step (or whatever step in question). That way you're not in view mode and can zoom/twirl as needed.
