| Hi All, Is there a version of the 2 x 2 x 2/3 (x85?) silver reflector dish anywhere? Either an official or an unofficial version? I'm in the final stages of LDrawing my train, and I can't seem to find the piece anywhere. I searched lugnet and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I think I'll be able to use this in a number of places - there are several rubber bands wrapped around the stacks on top of the engine, and well as some around the chassis. | (...) Thanks for the link! I've downloaded the file, read through the readme.txt, and will definitely be using this. It is essentially exactly what I was looking for ... | (...) This page has a spreadsheet for modeling curved nets. Perhaps that might help with modeling string since the real nets are made of string? | Hi All, I've been working diligently on LDrawing my Hudson 4-6-4 Steam Engine ((URL) and am finally running up against the seemingly impossible: Is there a way to modify pieces so that they bend and curve? | (...) This sounds like a shortcut in the algorithm. If the bezier function is f(t), it does not have the property that |f(t) - f(t+d)| = c for all t, d given. I've corrected for this in my algorithm by using some simple optimization to find a (...) (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
