From what I understand, the .00 values aren't specifically prohibited in the
LDraw format, but that they may be unnecessary.  It also appears that in some
cases, it throws errors when trying to use these files in LPub.

Is this a user configurable setting?  If so, can you provide a bit more detail
on how to make the change?
