(...) I, too, find that I just can't make pieces connect in LDD like they're supposed to. When this happens, I'll build up part of the model in LDD and then save as a .LDR file. Then using MLCAD (in LDraw), I fix the stuff that didn't work in LDD (...) (18 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Hi all, I've been working to recreate some of the great classic town/train sets within the bounds imposed by the piece assortment on LDD. The Motorail Terminal is, I think, one of the more impressive results of this project. And I've produced a (...) (18 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

Yay! I still remember how to build. I just used LDD to design some small train sets... Not sure if this link will work. You may need to copy and paste the string. Here again is an optional fix. This will convert new brown in LDD models to old brown in LDRAW, which is more convenient to edit in MLCAD: First, comment out the old brown definition: <!-- OLD BROWN, removed by Jason Railton 30.Jun.06 --> <!-- (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad.ldd)
