(...) No. 'Name:' and 'FILE' are different. As soon as an MPD is split, all the FILE lines disappear, so you must leave in a 'Name:' Ex: 0 Title for the MPD 0 Name: filename.mpd 0 Author: Author 0 Comments 0 0 FILE file1.dat <---during MPD parsing, (...) (...) All LDraw submodels that are not official sub-models can be inlined and then the separate parts moved around to keep the order of attaching pieces correct. (...) Actually, LDraw and LEdit _do_ support directories. You just have to specify the directory in the DAT file. How do you think the s\ directory under parts\ works? (...) Why can't someone temporarily renamed a file to an 8.3 name while working on it in LEdit, but keep the names in a non-DOS format for storage and publishing?
