Wow this is long... (...) In late 1996 or early 1997, I asked James if he wanted to collaborate with me on a tutorial for a ThinkQuest entry. Turned out he was ineligible since he was 25 years old. He mentioned "Tim" as a possible partner, but I had (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

But I think Tore was the only author other than James to have a part (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw History - here's one for the old timers in the group....

(...) I started working on it in June 96, at that time I had my own set of bricks all hardcoded into the program but a few months later (don't ask me when) I asked James if I could use his .DAT files in LeoCAD and converted them to my own format. Although Datsville never went as far as I (and others) would like to have seen it go, I think it made an important contribution to seeing what could be done with LCAD. (...)
