  Some bugs with LDGLite

I just started playing with LDGLIte and I noticed a few things. 1. Selecting parts (page up and page down) in LEdit mode doesn't work right if my display is set to a resolution higher than 750x550. 2. After continuing to work with a model for a (...)   Any users of professional Mac CAD programs?

Does anyone have experience and recommendations for CAD software on MacOS? I want to get some experience with the real thing... something with a mechanical drafting forte. For lack of software, I'm thinking of building my 3rd PC now just for AutoCAD (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Hello from WWDC and alpha Cocoa app

Hey, I am at WWDC. Anyone else here? If anyone went to the 503 session on the Quartz Compositor, you saw Ken Dyke's app that demonstrates one of the Quartz Compositor's abilities with a Lego Viewer that he wrote. I talked with Ken and he isn't ready (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: review: Radeon 7000 for BrickDraw3D, low-end Mac

(...) Cool! If you can clearly show where you make the changes, I might be able to port this back into the other versions. I've never been all that happy with the rendering speed myself. You can see in the code where I tinkered a bit with display (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  review: Radeon 7000 for BrickDraw3D, low-end Mac

Upgrading my stock Apple G3/233 with a Radeon 7000 gave BrickDraw3D an 85% speed improvement. In pure OpenGL mode the improvement is 60% over the existing OpenGL advantage. The 2002 ATI Retail Card Update worked on G3/233 with 9.1 but BrickDraw3D (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac OS X - LdGLite Launcher .8

I have updated LdGLite Launcher to .81. New features: It remembers the last file you opened. There is a window showing a list of LEdit keys (for ease). New URL: (URL) whole point of this is to make it as easy to use as possible. LMKWYT. James (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac OS 9 - ldglite crashing, more info

OK, it will probably take me a day or three to get all of this done. What do you mean "by turning on the debugging symbols in CW? I haven't read the CW manual or anything like it (again, I remind, I am only a novice programmer, got a degree in music (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac OS 9 - ldglite crashing, more info

(...) Install macsbug. When it crashes, type 'stdlog'. That will create a log file called 'stdlog' (on the desktop on this machine). Then type 'es' to get out of the app that crashed. Sometimes if things are really hosed, you may have to type 'rs' (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac OS 9 - ldglite crashing, more info

(...) I don't know where this ldraw folder came from. I thought it was the linux parts, but maybe I am wrong. Maybe it was the linux parts expanded on Mac OS X... I don't know. I recently rounded up all of my ldraw folders that I have collected over (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)
