So it might actually work on Linux boxes since the Framework is also
available for Linux. See: http://www.go-mono.com/index.html • ...
I did some digging, and mono indeed supports System.Drawing, with the

I replied directly to Amaury about helping, which I appreciate. But I'm curious:
does anyone know of a online discussion on the challenges of porting
a substantial application from Windows .NET to Linux?

To keep this mildly on topic: I'll be sending out a preview release towards the
end of this week to those who have signed up. Documentation about how to design
parts and how to provide internationalization help is up at:
http://www.trackdraw.com/pd_and_i.htm . The documentation is pretty crude (and
already out of date!) but let me know about any typos, inconsistencies, or
confusing language.

Thanks
Cary
