Microsoft ships MSIE with his own implementation of java for which
development has been stopped in 1999 at version 1.1.4. and is completely
incompatible with the current ideea of java. That's why you see only a gray
area.

Until I'll update the page and applet, if you want to see it running I
suggest to install the current Sun JVM at the link
http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html The release notes specifies the
software requirements and download links for various platforms.

I have J2RE 1.4.1 and Java3D 1.3 installed and I can't seem to run the
program or the applets on your site

Hmm Your Yahoo accoutn doesn't like you. :P (...) Even when you download them? The getting *any* applet to work these days, with all the different Plugins, and JDK's, and browsers can be a real pain. You may have JDK 1.4.1 and Java3D 1.3 may be (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
