Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) I believe that can be done if you're a reviewer by choosing the "novote" option instead of "certify" or "hold" (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) Yes! I agree that would be really nice! Also, is there a way for authors to get the email of revievers? If a reviewer leaves a comment the author doesn't understand, they need to be able to clarify it. (...) Many hands make light work! ROSCO (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

Hello, I would like to see a 'Comment' entry feature in the part tracker, so you can do comments and questions without voting or resetting the votes. That would be very important. I admit that i overlook details like this too. Another nice feature (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) Damien - I find your notes on parts *very* helpful, even if you don't want to vote "hold" on them, at least make a note so that such things won't go unnoticed :) I often miss a lot of the smaller details that you've picked up on. Thanks :) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) I have checked all "Certified" parts. However, as a self-restriction, I do not apply "Hold" vote(s) on certified parts. I have no right of veto. I just report. 32184 Technic Axle Joiner Perpendicular 3L The beam is single-faced because of (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [Parts Tracker] Daily News

A few notices for you to take note of: 1. I'm planning on cutting a new parts update by the end of the week. This will be the 2001-02 update. If you want to look the parts over now, while there's a chance to fix problems, take a look at the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev) !

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Moving/Renumbering Parts

(...) Umm, ok. Since the pattern for this part wasn't used anywhere else, and there have been very many patterns for 2408, this is fine. I won't generally commit to making LDraw parts match Brickbay, though. It's done. I also added a couple of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Moving/Renumbering Parts

(...) I wish my part 2408p03 is renumbered 2408p04 and renamed "Panel 10 x 6 x 11 with Futuron Stripes Pattern". This would equal the number and name at brickbay.com which can't be a bad thing. Damien (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [Parts Tracker] Moving/Renumbering Parts

Authors, If you see a file that needs to be renumbered, just send me an email. Or post a message here (in lugnet.cad.dev), and I'll see it. The tools I've got for renumbering are smart enough to create ~Moved to files only when necessary, and to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Can LDAO do this? (was: anyone interested in rendering for me?)

Thanks for the reply. After some research and plowing thru the POV manual I experimented with adding simular lines to the main pov.ini file and got the results I was looking for. It would certainly be nice if Jeff Boen (of L3PAO fame) added the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Can LDAO do this? (was: anyone interested in rendering for me?)

Well... I know it's been a while... Anyway, it seems that you guys picked up on it and now the answer is easy 'cause -sc "#if (clock > n)" has been added to L3PAO. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.   Re: New Part: dome.dat (and a part authoring tool idea)

(...) You can see the missing upper dome lines here. (URL) there seem to be some type 2 lines that should perhaps be type 5 lines on the undersides of some of the technic pin sockets?
