I've finally put together an installation package for LDAO that should be
safe. But it needs some more testing, before I publish it generally. Would
someone be willing to try this out, and verify that it works?

Just remember: the previous version of the LDAO installer tended to cripple
Win9x systems. So don't try this version unless you can easily recover your
machine from disaster.
I did discover the cause of the problem in the last release: it was a bug in
the setup-builder I was using. A really big bug. One of those that should
never have been shipped.
Needless to say, this new test-install uses a completely different
installation system.

| Steve, I gave it a shot. It installed okay on a Win98 (_not_ Win98 Second Edition) machine with minimal other software installed (one I'm rebuilding at work). The machine had Office 2000 Professional (SR 1) and Norton AntiVirus 2000, and that's (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
