This is more for Steve Bliss, but if anyone else can help, I'd welcome that,
too...
Is there a fix for LDAO 2.1.4? I saw a post on LUGNET that it will hose Win98
systems. unfortunately, I saw the post after I tried to install it on my
computer at home... and it is hosed. I booted from a floppy and copied the
installation log file so I could print it at work... If I go thru and replace
the files in Windows/System that were replaced by the install (looking at the
install log file), will that fix it, or is a full reinstall in order?
In many instances the log file says Version: Following file not copied. and
then the next line says File Overwrite: <path and filename> I'm assuming I
don't have to worry about those. But there are File Overwrite lines that
aren't preceded by that message -- I'm assuming those files _were_ replaced.
And what about the files that have File Overwrite lines but no Backup Copy
line???
Steve -- keep up the good work (no kidding) -- I wouldn't have ever tried Ldraw
in the first place without LDAO.

| (...) Not at this time. People who already have a (recent-but-older) version of LDAO installed can try grabbing the update-only file -- it's listed at the bottom of the LDAO download page, (URL). I've got a few other things going, I haven't had a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
