Re: comments on parts up for vote- part jg1

(...) Wrong, chris. There are at least 3 parts left to do. (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-01

(...) Hmm. That sounds workable. (...) Portable Java would be best... (...) I agree, I just don't see how flexible parts can be coded in LDraw. If you've got some ideas in this direction, I'd love to see them. The lack of flex in LDraw parts is a (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Comments on parts up for vote- Pt 1

(...) My comments (that have not already been mentioned) ... 2494p01.dat Does this exist as a printed part, or is this really a sticker? 2552.dat The edge lines on the underside do not seem to line up with the boundaries of the quads. 30044.dat (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) [ detail snippped ] (...) Thanks a lot for tracking these down - I guess its clear how I generated all these from one master pattern (with the error)! I'll fix them all and send updates to Steve. The one remaining part is the 3x6 shallow slope (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Comments on parts up for vote- Pt 1

(...) I'll fix the singular matrices - this was authored before L3Lab was publicly available. It was also done in the expectation that the matching door-frame would be sent in for the voting (don't remember who by). Maybe I'll put that on my work (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Another file - [3471.dat] This file has a lot of work on it, but still has some problems, specifically almost all the quads from the base are bowties. See the following image: (URL) there are a few (maybe many, but few as far as our yes can see) (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) I have been able to test only a few parts iet, but here are my findings: - [flowers.dat] This file shows superimposed polys (tris and quads) in the petals of the flower, this is a problem in the flower itself (3742.dat), not in the flowers.dat (...)   Anyone modeling the Battle Droid?

Has anyone done any work on the battle droid fig parts? If not, I think I'll make an attempt. -John Van (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Comments on parts up for vote- Pt 2
